The Benefits of Chair Massage
  • The chair massage is performed in a special chair using techniques designed to effectively relax muscle tension in short 15 to 30 minute sessions. Massages may be supplemented with stretching for maximum benefit.
  • The short sessions can be conveniently worked into break times for minimal disruption to the workday. 
  • The massages are performed in the company installations in a room the company designates, so employees do not have to move far from their work stations.
  • Clients receiving chair massages do not disrobe, so people will not feel in any way uncomfortable, which makes it ideal for a workplace setting.
  • The massages focus on specific areas in which office workers are most prone to feeling muscle tension and pain: the head, neck, back, shoulders, arms and hands.
  • The specific techniques used are designed to reduce muscle tension and rigidity, help maintain good posture, reduce blood pressure, alleviate joint pain, increase energy and improve concentration.
  • The massages are accompanied by relaxing music to enhance the effects of the massage. If the company permits, we can use essential oils as aromatherapy to complement the massage.
  • At the end of the massage, the employee will receive educational materials on stretching and posture care. These materials are designed to help lessen injuries caused by poor posture or prolonged stances.

 How it works

This is a flexible program with several ways to design how we deliver this specialized service, all in accordance with your company’s needs and wishes.  The company provides a space where we can work, whether that is an empty office or conference room. We need room enough for our massage chair and room enough to easily move around it to give the massages.  We can go 1 or more days a week for several hours. Or we can go every two weeks, or every month, or whatever you may need as part of a general employee wellness campaign.

If you have a one-time event planned, we can provide service only at that event without providing ongoing services. 

We can send 1, 2, 3  or more professional therapists each service day, again according to your needs. 

Regarding payment, the company can cover the costs or a portion of the costs with employees contributing a portion. Or you can let each employee pay for their own massage, with the company only providing the space.
